The Robustel R5020Le is an industrial 5G router that brings eSIM/eUICC flexibility to high-performance edge deployments. Built on the R5020-Lite platform, it uses a hybrid SIM design—one physical SIM plus an embedded MFF2 eSIM compliant with GSMA SGP.22—so organisations can standardise global rollouts while reducing SIM logistics and long-term operational overhead.
The embedded eSIM enables over-the-air profile download, activation, and switching, making it easier to adapt operator choices as coverage, roaming needs, or pricing change across regions. It also adds practical safeguards for scaled deployments, including secure profile control, automatic rollback to a working profile if provisioning fails, and profile rotation to avoid locking fleets into long-term roaming arrangements or maintenance-heavy SIM swaps.
On the connectivity and management side, the R5020Le supports global 5G/4G/3G bands and 3GPP Release 16, runs RobustOS, and can be managed centrally through Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS) for monitoring, configuration, firmware upgrades, and eSIM profile operations. With flexible WAN design—Ethernet or Wi-Fi as primary with cellular failover, or 5G as the main link—and multiple mounting options to improve signal placement, it’s well suited to distributed sites where performance and uptime matter as much as provisioning efficiency.

Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS) is a cloud-based platform for real-time monitoring and centralized management of Robustel routers and gateways. With Zero-Touch eSIM Provisioning, RCMS allows enterprises to remotely assign and activate eSIM profiles at scale - overcoming the industry limitation where SGP.22 cannot support mass deployment on its own. This capability eliminates manual SIM handling, reduces on-site labour, and accelerates global rollouts.
