The Robustel EG5100 is an industrial edge computing gateway that unifies cellular backhaul and on-box processing in a compact, cabinet-ready platform. Built on RobustOS Pro (Debian 11), it supports Docker containers and thousands of Debian-compatible packages, so you can run your own edge applications alongside secure routing.
A 792 MHz Cortex-A7 CPU with 8 GB eMMC provides dependable compute and storage for protocol bridging, buffering, and local preprocessing. Connectivity is flexible: dual-SIM 4G (with 3G/2G fallback) and Ethernet WAN with link backup keep data moving; VPN options (IPsec/OpenVPN/GRE/L2TP/PPTP/DMVPN) and firewall features protect traffic.
Integration is straightforward via software-configurable RS-232/RS-485 (or CAN), 2×DI/2×DO, plus optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. Fleet operations scale through RCMS for monitoring, configuration, and updates.
